Tervetuloa blogini pariin!
Minusta askartelu on lapselle taianomainen tapa oppia maailmasta hänen ympärillään. Tässä blogissa haluan jakaa askartelu ja aktiviteetti ideoita lapsille päiväkoti ryhmiin, pienryhmiin ja kotiin. Askartelujen ja puuhastelujen suunnittelun olennaisin osa minulle on aina se mitä lapsi tästä oppii ja mitä hän tästä saa irti? Olipa kyseessä hienomotoriikan harjoittelu tai saksiharjoittelu, tärkeää on edistää lapsen luovuutta, mielikuvitusta ja itsenäisyyttä!
Minulle tärkeää on että lapsi tekee sellaisen askartelun jonka hän haluaa tehdä, hän saa kokeilla ja ihmetellä niin pitkään kuin haluaa ja hän käyttää omaa mielikuvitustaan luodessaan uutta. Aikuisen tehtävä on hellästi antaa suuntaa ja auttaa silloin kun se on tarpeellista. Pyrin käyttämään sellaisia materiaaleja joita on helposti saatavilla tai joita ehkäpä löytyy jo kotoa. Askarteluun ei aina tarvita hienoja materiaaleja, vessapaperirulla on varsin versatiili tuote!

I think craft making is a magical way for children to learn about the world. In this blog I want to share ideas about different crafts and activities for kids in Preschool, Kindergarten or at home. When planning and making crafts I always try to think of and highlight the different things that a child can learn from it. Whether it be fine motor skills or scissor practise, I am passionate about nurturing creativity, imagination and independence of the child!
I think it is important for each child to get to do crafts they want to do, explore at their own pace and use their own imagination in their own work. An adults job is to be there to guide and help when necessary. I try to come up with ideas where the materials and tools are something that are easy to find and perhaps readily available at home. You don’t always need fancy stuff to make crafts, a toilet paper roll is very versatile!
So that is my Why for this blog, to provide ideas for crafts and activities that a child might enjoy, using simple materials. Remember that my example is just an example, use the idea to create your own kind of magic!
